Below you will find all the rental terms, so you can know in advance how the booking, pickup, and return process works.

1. Transparent Pricing

The rental price is fixed at the time of booking. All mandatory taxes and fees are included. We do not charge hidden commissions or unexpected extras.

2. Booking and Prepayment

  • To confirm your booking, only 15–20% of the total amount is required.
  • The remaining balance is paid when you receive the car.
  • All prices are calculated on a daily rental basis. Even a few hours delay in return counts as a full day.

3. Minimum Rental Period

The minimum rental period is 24 hours.

4. Rental Extension

You can extend your rental by notifying WOW CARS in advance. This guarantees vehicle availability and keeps the same conditions.

5. Driver Requirements

  • Minimum driver age ― 24 years.
  • Minimum driving experience ― 2 years.
  • In some cases, rentals are possible from 22 years with confirmed driving experience.
  • Required documents:
    • passport or ID card;
    • a valid driver’s license.

6. Security Deposit

  • A refundable deposit is required upon receiving the car.
  • The deposit is usually blocked on the renter’s credit card.
  • If the vehicle is returned without damage or fines, the deposit is fully refunded.
  • The inspection of the car is always carried out together with the client.

7. Insurance

All WOW CARS vehicles are insured. Basic insurance is included in the rental price and covers major risks.

Note: Standard insurance does not cover:

  • tires and wheels;
  • vehicle underbody;
  • windshield;
  • car interior.

For additional protection, clients may purchase extended insurance packages that reduce or eliminate liability.

8. Fuel Policy

  • The car is provided with a certain fuel level.
  • You must return it with the same amount of fuel.
  • If the fuel level is lower, the difference must be paid by the renter.

9. Vehicle Cleanliness

The vehicle must be returned in a clean condition. If the car is excessively dirty (mud, dust, sand) and inspection is impossible, the renter pays for car wash services.

10. Vehicle Usage Rules

  • Driving on unpaved or off-road routes is prohibited.
  • Taking the vehicle outside Azerbaijan is strictly forbidden.
  • It is strictly prohibited to drive to hard-to-reach regions, including Khinalig, Nakhchivan, Karabakh, and other areas with unsafe or impassable roads.
  • Transportation of pets is allowed only in special carriers.
  • All fuel costs, fines, toll roads, and parking fees are paid by the renter.

11. Accidents and Insurance Cases

In case of an accident or damage, the renter must:

  1. immediately contact a WOW CARS manager;
  2. call the traffic police and obtain an official report;
  3. present the documents upon vehicle return.

⚠️ Without a police report, insurance is considered invalid.

12. Vehicle Return

  • You can return the car at the pickup location or another agreed location.
  • The car inspection is carried out together with the renter.
  • If no new damage is found, the deposit is refunded immediately.

13. Vehicle Breakdown or Replacement

If the reserved vehicle becomes unavailable due to technical issues, we will provide a replacement ― the same class or higher ― under the same conditions and price.

14. Booking Cancellation

  • Free cancellation is available up to 7 days before the rental start date.
  • For premium and convertible cars ― up to 30 days.
  • The “Free cancellation within 24 hours” option is available if chosen during booking.
  • If cancelled later, the prepayment may be withheld.
  • Refunds are issued minus payment system fees (usually 6%).

15. Contact Availability

The renter must stay available at the provided phone number during the entire rental period. If the renter is unreachable, complaints will not be accepted.

16. Customer Support

The WOW CARS support team works 24/7. You can contact us by phone, messengers, or online chat at any time.

17. Additional Services

For your convenience, the following are available upon request:

  • child seats and boosters;
  • GPS navigators;
